Geocache Description:

This cache is located in what is referred to as 'High Park'. The area that you are standing on was built up by men and horses to form the side of the canal, the other side skirting the edge of Armour Hill. This is the top approach of the Liftlock, certainly a strange feeling when one first comes along here by water, to the 'edge' of the lock, and overlooking such a large area.

Another cache in the Tug Trent Caching Adventure. This is a series of six geocaches. Validate your passport, and then return your passport to the visitor's centre to redeem for a geocoin!! Passports are available for the series here in English or French as well you need an insert to stamp at each cache. English insert. or French insert.

NOTE! Sorry the Visitor Centre is closed for the season until spring, keep your passport until then. Put a watch on the cache for reopening announcements.

As per the Parks Canada caching policies, please do not leave anything in the cache, trade items are NOT permitted.
