Knowing how much work it was to find the 800 caches along the Route 66 series, we have a huge appreciation for Team Stevecat (aka Ginny & Steve) for placing them all for us to find.
Of course...
- the car needs washing inside and out.
- our socks may never be white again.
- the wind at times was so hard that we had to fight the car doors open.
However...
- we laughed along the way.
- we met some cachers from Germany and taught them the "move one cache" technique.
- we built a tall rock stack at #400.
- we added one more final container to the collection at #800.
Life may be a highway, but it's also an adventure. This is one we won't forget.
