Geocache Description:


This is one of a series of caches on the Gabriel's Gully walking track placed at the time of the 150th Anniversary 18-21 March 2011. A well formed and maintained loop track traverses around a large part of the historic gold field. Allow at least 90 minutes to complete the loop track and gather the 6 caches on route. Accessing the gold bearing material often involved tunneling and blasting. The blue spur is riddled with tunnels. The explosives were stored in caves near the workings. The cache is a 200ml sistema hidden near the entrance of this powder magazine.
