This is a story walk along the stunning wooded coastline from Porlock Weir to Culbone Church - (one of the smallest Churches in the country.) The Faux Faery has escaped her confinement and taken refuge in Culbone valley. There she amasses her army and you are drawn into the conflict. Please note this is not a cache and dash. Here is a web site that I made about the story walks http://storywalks.info
I wrote this for my family to create a walk in a special place that is more than just a walk. Culbone woods are quite something, they boarder the moors and the sea, there is no easy access other than Landrover and walking the coastal path. As you enter the wood you walk beneath extensive folly's from the stately home that was once built there. Deeper into the woods the forest changes from planted specimens from the house to Sweet Chestnuts to stunted scrub Oak the latter of which was coppiced for charcoal for many years back in the day.
Finally the cache has been placed with permission from the Exmoor National Park Authroity who manage this wood. I also have a blog https://www.jelley.info/blog where I often post comments and logs from those who have walked the walk. The file is downloadable from the wherigo website which is the linked webpage above http://www.wherigo.com/cartridge/details.aspx?CGUID=bd3409e9-ee61-44f6-ac12-291c7cb8f1d7 which requires the same log in as geocaching.
