Y ? Y-not ? Traditional Cache

This cache is located at what has traditionally been known in Galena as the Y. This is the intersection where HWY 84 heads south from Wisconsin and joins with Hwy 20 heading east from Dubuque, Iowa. The 2 highways are combined through Galena and split again before reaching Elizabeth and Hanover.
The intersection was considered dangerous and was rebuilt into a sort of T intersection last year. There has already been a serious accident at the “T”. There is poor visibility approaching from Galena.
In the past there was a diner and a gas station located here. Then a car dealership was built and later abandoned. The last building was torn down in the intersection rebuild.
Carpools used to leave vehicles at the Y. I think the area of the cache is here for the same reason. There is a big blue sign here but no sign. I was thinking about putting a magnet on it and calling it the No Sign Sign but didn't.
Eventually the 4 lane Hwy 20 will go through and the intersection will be rebuilt again. At that time this area will disappear into the intersection. NO rush. Hwy 20 is being rebuilt into 4 lane at a rate of less than a mile per year. They are now working near Freeport. Should get here in about 50 years.
