TPT - Music Bonus

The cache is not at the published co-ordinates. This is a bonus cache located along the Trans Pennine Trail near Formby.

The co-ordinates published for TPT Music 1 to 8 are not where those caches are either however you will be walking past these dummy co-ordinates, so why waste them. What they will do is take you to an object, from which a question needs to be answered in order to identify the correct co-ordinates for this cache. Please see the below table for details. Please note that the co-ordinates have been replicated as waypoints for you to download. The waypoints can be visited in any order.

TPT Music 2 You should be standing on concrete, behind you is a small pebble dashed building and in front a drainage ditch. Bolted into the concrete floor is a sign with an exclamation mark in a circle. Written underneath is "Safety Check Area" Apply SSW NO 1?. ? is Variable A.

TPT Music 1 You should be stood in front of a sign telling you the name of the bridge. ? Lane Bridge. The number of letters in the first word is Variable B.

TPT Music 8 You should be standing on a concrete bridge that crosses the drainage ditch. If you look along both sides of the concrete verges you will see a number of holes. Count the number of holes, double it and the result is Variable C

TPT Music 6 You should be able to see a green pole with a v shaped piece of metal on the top. Stuck to the pole are stickers telling you which cycle route number you are on. Add these two digits together to get Variable D

TPT Music 7 You should be able to see a sign that has a green "No Public Access", a white information notice regarding the area and another green sign with the legend "Footpath". The number of Nuts and Bolts minus 3 is Variable E

TPT Music 5 You should be able to see an orange sign giving information regarding the gas pipeline. There are two numbers given 0800 6?? 5?? and 0800 111 999. ? is Variable F.

TPT Music 3 In front of you should be a telegraph pole, behind you a small stone wall. Below the warning sign "Danger of Death" and above the barbed wire are three metal plates. The top one has 01 on it, the second 0002 and the third is a two digit number. Add the two digits on the third plate to get Variable G.

TPT Music 4 This is a sign informing you that there used to be a side line from the main Cheshire railway tracks at this point. It was called ? Spur. The number of letters in the first name plus 1 is Variable H.
