This is one of a series of caches on the Gabriel's Gully walking track placed at the time of the 150th Anniversary 18-21 March 2011.
A well formed and maintained loop track traverses around a large part of the historic gold field. Allow at least 90 minutes to complete the loop track and gather the 6 caches on route.
After passing the entrance shaft of the great extended mine the track rises up to give the walker a great view of some of the hydraulic sluicings, blue ridge and the remaining pond on the valley floor. The cache is a 400 ml sistema hidden very close to the track.
