This is one of a series of caches on the Gabriel's Gully walking track placed at the time of the 150th Anniversary 18-21 March 2011.
A well formed and maintained loop track traverses around a large part of the historic gold field. Allow at least 90 minutes to complete the loop track and gather the 6 caches on route. Continuing towards the end of the track you will gain some good views of the now quite and peacefull valley. Hard to imagine it being a hive of activity all those years ago.
The cache is a 400 ml sistema hidden at the base of a very large rock. Take care approaching the cache as the ground is quiet steep and long grass may hide holes, boulders or other hazards. Bring your own pen.
