This cache is called random acts of kindness. Think of how much better our world would be if everyone, everyday did one random act of kindness anonymously! It could change the world. This site is to encourage you to change the world one act at a time, one day at a time. Below are written 31 suggested acts of kindness- one for each day of the month. Please choose one and act on it. Or invent your own!
Be a world changer !
Cut your neighbor’s hedge.
Walk your friend’s dog.
Give a compliment about your waiter / waitress to his / her manager.
Send someone a small gift anonymously.
Stop and help someone replace their flat tire.
Let someone jump the queue at the bank.
Pay for the drinks on the next table at a café.
Give a huge tip to someone when they least expect it.
Hold the door open for someone rushing to get in.
Give up your seat for someone, not just an elderly person.
Talk to a homeless person and have a “normal” conversation.
Pick up some rubbish in the road which would otherwise be lying around.
Give another driver your parking spot.
Give a piece of fruit to a delivery person.
Help an elderly neighbor carry the rubbish out.
Leave a copy of an interesting book on a train / bus.
Smile a lot.
Compliment a stranger sincerely
Look for something around you that can be fixed up, picked up, or attended ie, put shopping carts up, pick up some trash laying around, pick up something that has fallen over
Send a card to someone in the military overseas
Start a conversation up with a co-worker that you don't know
Put change in a row of vending machines
Visit a nursing home. Spend time visiting with someone who doesn't get visitors
Put something you no longer need on Craig's list free spot for your area
Leave something for someone at an area where it most might be used, (lighter near smoking area, book in reading area, news paper in waiting room)
Open the phone book, pick a name, and send them something (movie tickets, paid dinner coupon, paid massage, gift certificate, etc.) anonymously.
Send someone a small gift anonymously
Put a quarter in a parking meter that has expired
Drop a few coins in an area where children play, where they can easily find them.
Tape some change to a payphone with a card saying it is for whoever needs it.
Buy a lottery ticket for a stranger.
