When you leave #7 and enter into the wash make a hairpin turn to
the right and then keep to your left. When you arrive at the
springs the trail gets narrow. Cache is a cookie tin with a few
trading items that we collected from other caches and a log sheet.

way of Haystack. Permits are required for Empirita Ranch Access and
are free. The messaging system at 520-877-6158 is checked daily and
permits are issued within two county business days of the request
They will be mailed or e-mailed. Walk-ins are still accepted at the
Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Administration Building,
3500 West River Road for those seeking immediate permitting.
