Geocache Description:


Welcome to another section of the well maintained and clearly blazed S.R.T. or Shawangunk Ridge Trail. Terrain level is as cache title states. Difficulty level is high due to there is no known parking nearby. According to my 2009 NYNJ Trail Conference Kittatinny Trails map # 123, the closest parking is at the other end where this trail crosses the Greenville Turnpike...... approximate coordinates are N 41 21.8397 W074 39.309. I however found this parking to be somewhat sketchy as there are posted signs on both sides of the road. Please be courteous to local surrounding land owners when seeking parking and ask permission to be sure that this remains a place all may enjoy.
