Located On The Public Beach Access At Pine Knoll Shores.
In 1962 Our Family Visited The Crystal Coast From West Virginia. I Was 51/2 Years Old But Can Remember It Like It Was Yesterday. We Stayed In A Small Camp Located On The Mainland Near "Oceans".During Our Week Long Stay, We Took A Ferry Over To Emerald Isle To Play In The Ocean, Came To Atlantic Beach To Ride The Amusement Rides At The Circle (Located In The Large Area Just Past Stop Light Near The Beach) And Went To The Drive In Theater At Havelock (Now The US Mail Facility) And Seen The Movie "Babes In Toyland". It Was A Wonderful Time. My Mom Passed Away On Feb. 17, 2011, So I Decided To Place A Cache Here In Her Memory. Enjoy The Hunt And Stop And Think Of A Special Moment You Had With Your Mom.
