Cache is beside a track leading from parking near Matata DOC camp. Flat, although a little climb over the sand dune to see the sea.
The path will lead you past the bird hide. A walk up the track in front of the bird hide will give you a view of this great fishing beach.
The cache when placed held a notebook, pencil/pen and a Pathtag. This was left in the Coromandel by a couple from Australia and if you collect them its yours.
There is room for small TB or Coin.
