How to find Platanias and the cache area:
From Chania you can take the Old Road direction to Kissamos, or when you are driving on the New Road please take the exit "Galatas" North to the Old Road with direction to Kissamos to Platanias. In Platanias turn to the beach on "Waypoint 1", then drive to the parking area on "Waypoint 2".
From here it is a short way to the cache area. A little bit swimming and climbing is necessary to get the cache.
The Cache:
We think the cache is not easy to get. The reason is we were looking for a place where:
The cache can be held dry and is protected against wind and weather. As well we would avoid muggling the cache in the crowded area in tourist´s seasons.
The cache is a Small one (plastic container) with a logbook, pen, pen sharpener and a little car to trade.
We hope you will enjoy this cache and find it. If the search needs too long, may be relax for a while with a coffee or drink at the harbour.
