The Market Square
There is ample free parking as per waypoint close to the church(But this will be busy during peak Summer periods due to tourism).Originally placed by Barbycats in 2011 from which we adopted in September 2020.

REPLACE LOW PLEASE.The hub of the village is the Market Place where is sited the famous Guildhall of Corpus Christi built in 1530, it is one of four Guildhalls in the village. In its 500 year history it has served as a prison, workhouse, almshouse, woolstore,nursery school and a "Welcome Club" to American Airmen in the second world war.Also to be found in the market place is the Market Cross 1501 and another Wool Hall now known as the Little Hall mainly built in the 14th and 15th century.
