This old hut was used by the Roma Girl Guides and is one of the only original buildings left standing on the site.
Guiding in Queensland was established in 1919 due to the demand from girls wanting to become Girl Guides.
Today Girl Guides Queensland is the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in Queensland with almost 6000 youth members and more than 1100 volunteer Leaders and adult Members.
