På denna adress låg det smått legendariska IT-företaget SKRIBOFONT
fram tills dess konkurs våren 2002. Det var hit vi
datorintresserade vallfärdade när vi skulle köpa datorer,
komponenter, tillbehör och programvaror. Kön till disken var tidvis
lång men priserna var bra och servicen på topp.
Getter gick som en röd tråg genom företagets marknadsföring på
såväl hemsida som i tunnelbanereklam. Väggarna ner till
deras lokal var draperad med getter, överallt getter som bar på
datorer, skärmar, tillbehör osv. Och vem minns inte deras
julkalendrar? Allt illustrerat med människogestaltade getter.
I sann IT-anda skulle Skribofont in på Stockholmsbörsen.
Noteringskursen på aktien var 1 kr st och som mest stod den i
7,20 kr. Men när IT-bubblan sprack så ramlade IT-företagen
omkull ett efter ett, och Skribofonts sattsning på butiker på
lite mindre orter gjorde att företaget blödde pengar. Konkursen var
ett faktum den 28 maj 2002.

At this address was the legendary IT-company SKRIBOFONT until the
bankruptcy in spring 2002. This was where we e interested in
computers when we were buying PCs, components, accessories and
software. The queue for the counter was long at times, but prices
were good and the service was top notch.
Goats as the main sump through the company's marketing on both
the homepage and in subway advertising. The walls down to their
local was draped with goats, goats everywhere who carried on
computers, monitors, accessories and so on. And who does not
remember their advent calendar? All illustrated with human figured
goats.
In true IT spirit SKRIBOFONTt would enter the Stockholm
Stock Exchange. The listing price of the shares was SEK 1 and the
share price peak listing was at SEK 7.20. But when the IT
bubble burst the IT companies collapse one after another, and
Skribofonts commitment for the stores in some smaller towns was the
cause why the company was bleeding money. The bankruptcy was a
fact, the 28 May 2002.
