Geocache Description:

a very old footpath that led to Sao Chingcha (The Giant Swing) over time cars ate up more and more of the space till where it is now that there is no footpath for some of it as the road has taken over. So... be careful if you are walking up this street to the giant swing.

The road is interesting for the stores that supply the temples with things they need. So lots of giant bells and Buddha images. It used to be called Sao Chingcha road but was modified in 1864 and renamed Bamrung Muang Road by King Rama 5.

Behind the Cache is the Ministry of the Interior which uses three palaces. On the other side of the canal is the back of the department of defense and along the canal are stores that supply the military. So lots of camo stuff and fatigues are found here.
