Här låg en av landets många dansbanor, denna revs så sent som 2002. Skytteskogen är ett populärt namn som återfinns på många ställen och där det ofta fanns dansbanor, troligtvis för att det var ortens skytteförening som anordnade danserna här.

Here was one of the many dance tracks, this was demolished as late as 2002. Shootingforest is a popular name that is found in many places and where there has often been dance tracks, probably because it was the local RIFLE CLUB which held dances here.
