This is the first of a short series of caches placed in locations that meant a lot to me through childhood for one reason or another. Parking on Main Road or any road near to hand. The car park is private.
This cache is in Hoo where I lived for most of my childhood. The little stream here was the source of many adventures and I managed to navigate the total stretch of it in this area with the aid of some wellies. Not too much water went over the tops of them..
Next to the stream is what remains of a Victorian rubbish dump and I turned up many old bottles and the like during the Summer Hols.
I lived in one of the houses backing onto the stream and had to help my parents capture our escaped geese that had invaded the allotments on more than one occasion, much to the crops detriment!
Many fond memories of this seemingly ordinary location....
(Many small items in cache, and pen, as well as a FTF keyring!)
FTF goes to Blaide, well done, and keep an eye out for cache #2 coming soon!
