Geocache Description:

The Road from the Grand Palace to Pak Khlong Talad. It is staggering when you think of the history that has walked along this road. for 250 years life has flowed along it. Kings have walked, ridden and driven along it. One can pretty safely say that anyone of any importance that has visited Siam and Thailand has been on it.

Palaces, temples, ministries, schools, parks, museums and markets all are housed on this street. It was most likely the first boulevard in Bangkok. In our modern life we sometimes fail to take in the elegance and wonder of what is about us. I always find something new to strike me with awe while walking along MahaRat. I hope you too see the history, majesty and wonder of what is Bangkok.
