This nano cache is located near Maison Charron, the oldest surviving house in Hull.
Maison Charron is one of only two structures that dates back to the time of Philemon Wright. It was built sometime between 1826 and 1841 by François Charron on land owned by Philemon Wright, and he took possession of the house when François Charron couldn't pay the annual rent. It was then used as a rental property for several years. From 1892 to 1941, it was home to the Ottawa Transportation Company. It was renovated by the NCC in 1985 and is currently used by the Association des auteurs et auteures de l'Outaouais.
