Not far from the Dorrigo National Park where there is wonderful walks available, including a new suspension bridge, and you can walk behind the Crystal Showers Waterfall.
There is a giftshop, and great food is available.
If you look towards to huge shed on the other side of the river you will see a engineering business called Pelina Energy (used to be a sawmill) they built a boat that was exported to the Solomon Islands that ran on coconut oil. They are building alternate power generating systems.
