It is very famous alcoholic beverage for medicinal purposes in Japan.
Yomeishu was born here ago for as many as 400 years.
Soukan Shiozawa saved the travel elderly person who was falling in the snow in the evening of a certain heavy snow.
The manufacturing method of alcoholic beverage for medicinal purposes was taught from the elderly person who had been helped three years later.
It seems to have become Yomeishu.
It was born in 1602.
The sign used as a trademark of Yomeishu seems to be the one that presented to Ieyasu Tokugawa who was the health nut and was permitted, and to be the first trademark in Japan.
Moreover, the effect was known to a lot of people as Ako Roshi restored one's spirits, and the king in the foreign country was drinking.
In the "1st factory" near cache, Yomeishu was manufactured until the 1945's.
However, production moved to a big factory because sales had increased.
The warehouse that was the brewing warehouse is a material pavilion now, and valuables such as tools used for manufacturing and old signboards have been exhibited.

Yomeishu is manufactured from here at about 15km Komagane factory in the north now.

「養命酒」。
日本人ならその名前は一度は耳にしたことがあるかもしれません。日本では大変有名な薬酒です。
養命酒はここで４００年も前に誕生しました。
ある大雪の晩に、塩沢宋閑が雪中に倒れていた旅老人を救ったことで、三年後に薬酒の製法を教えてもらい、それが養命酒となったそうです。
１６０２年に誕生しました。
養命酒の商標として使われている印は、健康マニアだった徳川家康へ献上して許可されたもので、日本で最初の商標だそうです。
また、赤穂浪士が英気を養ったり、外国の王が飲んでいたなど、古くからその効能は多くの人々に知られていました。
キャッシュの近くにある第一工場では、昭和20年代まで養命酒の製造が行われていましたが、売上が増えたため生産は大きな工場へと移りました。
醸造庫であった蔵は、今は資料館となっており、製造に使われた道具や、昔の看板などの貴重品が展示されています。

現在、養命酒はここから15ｋｍほど北にある駒ヶ根工場で製造されており、駒ヶ根工場では、製造ラインの見学ができます。
