An easy cache located few steps up from an easy path near to a historically significant building.
The Bowen Road Hospital, which was built between 1903 and 1906 was finally opened in 1907 to serve the British garrison in Hong Kong.
(visit link)
After it was decomissioned in 1967, it served as temparory location for many different schools. Today it houses the Carmel School along with the headquarters of the Victoria District of the Hong Kong scouts along with the 66th troops.
The cache is located below the actual hospital on a scenic terrace with a large beautiful banyan tree. The cache was put in place by 2 members of the 66th Cub scout troop (see picture).
If you wish to visit the old hospital, continue up the stairs to the top. If you visit on a Saturday afternoon, you may even see some of the scouts training there.
