Traditional cache set in Torrieston Woods 3 miles south-west of Elgin.
A small watertight plastic lock-box cache placed just off one of the many walking trails in Torrieston Woods. These woods have a range of walks to suit all abilities from short and easy to 2 miles hikes over some quite steep paths. These walks are especially popular with dog owners, hence the cache name! Be careful not to get muggled by a walker or bounced by their mutt! There are several trails that you can take that will eventually pass close to the cache location. Some of these paths can be moderately steep and very muddy and are not all suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Ample parking is available at the signposted car park on the B9010 Elgin to Pluscarden road (N57º36.687 W003º23.963).
