Geocache Description:


The name says it all! This should be an easy one to find, and will give you a chance to break up your drive and maybe even see a hawk in the wild. While driving along this road, those of us who are NOT behind the wheel make a point to look closely at the sky and natural perches here - this is an area where we tend to spot hawks on the hunt. (This is a big deal to us!) One day, we finally took the time to stop and survey the area properly - we came prepared with binoculars, cameras...and, of course, there weren't any hawks. (We DID see a Snow Goose walking around, which is sort of cool. I guess.) Anyway, we thought it would be a great idea to hide a cache here so others could come and regale us with stories and pictures of THEIR hawk sightings in their logs. You get the smiley, and we get to hear your stories - win-win!
