A traditional cache in a traditional spot
Local Nature Reserves are a feature of the English countryside, and act as small oases of the natural environment in our expanding towns. There are eight around Darlington, each with a different flavour, and Geneva Woods is one that should appeal to cachers, as there are plenty of bases of trees. Geneva Woods is bounded by two railway lines, one the main line from Darlington the south and the other a branch line to Middlesbrough, which does not make it sound particularly inspiring, but it is a pleasant place for a short stroll. It is claimed that there is wildlife to be seen in the woods, but have yet to see any. Maybe you could log anything interesting!
