Nothing difficult here, just a chance to share one of our family's favorite summer areas.
When the dog days of summer call for a cool wet retreat from the muggy doldrums of our everyday busy life we sometimes head for this special place. We load our inner tubes into the truck and spend a Sunday afternoon floating/wading/splashing down to the Woodbine bridge. The road runs along Muddy Creek for the entire length of this approximately 1 mile stretch so it is possible to make the trip without an extra shuttle vehicle. Dad makes the short hike back up to retrieve the truck while the family hangs out at the bridge. This section is also popular with fishermen so please show them respect and always remember to wear your PFDs. Road side parking is available nearby.
