The Wattle Flat Bronze Thong Gymkhana began in 1983 and is held in January every year.
GZ is not far from the site of the Wattle Flat Racing Track and golf course.
At the Bronze Thong there are bush races, horse events, sheep dog trials, wood chopping and chain saw events and of course, the always amusing, ever competitive main event - the championship thong tossing! There are even Bronze Thong Music Awards.
Please make sure cache is well covered.
