John Biggs was born in Manchester, England and came to the United States at the age of 18. He worked in Philadelphia, he then moved to Oquawka, IL to live until 1843. He then moved to this township and bought a site on South Henderson Creek. In 1844 he built a flour mill and when CB&Q railroad was built in 1845 they named the town Biggsville in his honor.
Look around and about for John Biggs gravesite. Once you find it, you will be able to solve the puzzle to lead you to the cache.
