Geocache Description:

This will take really big sharp eyes to find this one, especially at night.

1.5 miles north of Oquawka, IL is 89 acres of sturdy oaks, birch, and hickory trees, called Delabar State Park. The park is named to honor two brothers, Roy & Jack Delabar, who donated the site to the state in 1959 to be developed as a state park. The park officially open in 1960. There is boating, fishing, camping, picnicking and two miles of marked trails throughout the woods for hikers. As always, the rangers will appreciate any trash you would pick up and throw out while you are enjoying the park.
