Daniel Island By Sea Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ninja Reviewer: As there has been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Awesome summertime boating and beaching location!! Probably the best view anywhere of the beautiful Ravenel Bridge.

This is one of our favorite summertime boating spots. During the summertime, there are endless numbers of boaters/beachers here. You will need a boat or kayak to reach this area unless you are a very serious hiker and want to hike the southern portion of Daniel Island...I wouldn't recommend this. Cache is fairly easy to reach once you get to the island. You will need closed toe shoes due to the terrain. It's a little steep at places and I tried to put the cache far enough away from the main hangout area that it will remain safe. This area can get overgrown at times and we've seen plenty of wild animals out here. Bring the camera too; this is an excellent place to get quality shot of the Ravenel Bridge.

For this cache, you should bring: closed toe shoes and bug spray.

Original contents include: Beach radio, computer games including Tombraider Lara Croft, Baseball, and Deer Avenger games, some sharks teeth, ninjas, monkey, railroad spike, and a couple of trackables.
