Geocache Description:

해우재는 근심을 더는 집이라는 뜻으로 사찰에서 화장실을 일컫는 해우소에서 비롯된 것이다. 심재덕은 세계화장실협회 창립을 기념하고자 30여 년간 살던 집을 변기모양으로 . 새롭게 짓고 해우재 라 이름하였다. 화장실이 삶에서 가장 중요한 공간이라는 점을 강조한 해우재의 건축양식은 심재덕의 화장실에 대한 철학과 신념을 잘 보여준다. 해우재는 2007년 3월 건축가 고기웅의 설계로 그 해 11월 11일에 완공되었다. 심재덕 사후 유족들은 해우재를 2009년 11월 수원시에 기증하였고, 수원시는 이를 전시관으로 열어 그 뜻을 기리고 있다.
Mr.Toilet House, which means a place alleviating your concerns, was built by Mr. Sim Jae-duck otherwise known as Mr. Toilet, in 2007 to commemorate the establishment of World Toilet Association. After his death, his surviving family donated this toilet bowl-shaped house to Suwon City and the City has used it as a pavilion to pay tribute to Mr.Sim. Good luck
