This is The Hawks view from the highest point on the Moor
This cache is within the OKEHAMPTON FIRING RANGE.
Before you plan your visit you MUST check the DARTMOOR FIRING NOTICE.
Do not attempt this cache if there is firing on the Okehampton Ranges. Do not go past the Range Marker posts when the Range Flags (Red Fags) are Flying.
Do not pick up any object in the area due to the fact that it is a Military Training Area where Troops use "Blank Ammunition".
This, the highest point in Southern England, is not actually very impressive. A large cairn of stones is slowly being built by passing walkers and so I guess it gets higher each year! The views are however spectacular.
The cache is a 400 ml screw top container may not have a pen.
