in our disclaimer.
This cache replaces the original Sinus Rhythm - AV Node. It got muggled. I decided to archive that one, but the co-ordinates take you to its old location. From there you need to follow the clue to find the cache. You will have to use pacing, and either your GPS or a good old compass.
Depending what way you choose to get to the cache location , it may be steep and slippy - so please be careful.
The cache forms part of the Sinus Rhythm series around the area of Ramsbottom.
We all run on our own electricity, and our heart has a conduction system of its' own.
The caches in the series are -
SA NODE
AV NODE
BUNDLE BRANCHES
SINUS RHYTHM
The hearts' electrical conduction system consists of the following:
The SA NODE. It lies in the right atrium, and is the pacemaker of the heart. The electrical impulse is 'fired' off from here. The conduction then travels across the atria, and then goes to the AV NODE. The impulse then travels down through the Bundle of His to the BUNDLE BRANCHES, and eventually the impulse reaches the small nerve endings known as the PURKINJE FIBRES.
The electrical impulse as it travels through the conduction system makes the atria and ventricles contract which makes your heart pump.
The caches are situated in the area around Ramsbottom, and the process of finding them, will not only make your heart beat more, but also introduce yourself to the area around Ramsbottom.
The cache is located near to the footpath that runs from Dundee Lane to Tagg Wood.
