Central Hall is a small woodland area in Wrockwardine Wood that we called "Cinder Hill" when we were growing up. It was a fantastic area for kids to play in and consists of one main lake and many small swamps along with a large field and various pathways connecting Wrockwardine Wood to Donnington.
The route of the Donnington Canal ran through the southern section of the area, and there was also a Tin Chapel (the "dissident Methodist" Central Hall) that sat on top of one of the many "hills", but was dismantled during the 1980s.
The area is now commonly known as "The Snake" because of its winding paths which locals say reminded them of a snake.
This cache was an unusual micro container, but i changed it to something more suitable. The labels still refer to what the theme is. Can I ask that just for a bit of fun please could you either add "love it" or "hate it" to your cache log! you will understand when you find the cache!! Personally i "love it!"
