South Jersey Geocaching invites you to a new member meet and greet (and eat cuz well it wouldn't be an event without food right?) at Washington Lake Park in Gloucester County.
How many times are you asked "What is Geocaching?" Well, instead of telling them, bring them out to learn more about us!
We would like to give everyone a warm welcome into the wild world of Geocaching. You don't have to be a new member. All are welcome! There will be plenty of food and giveaways and fun for everyone!
We will be getting together at 1pm to discuss the basics of Geocaching to anyone unfamiliar with the hobby or interested in learning more! We will then break into groups where experienced geocachers will be taking interested parties out to cache the many caches in beautiful Washington Lake Park.
Please post how many are coming, bringing a non cacher, and what dessert, side dish or snack you will be bringing!
Geopups are not permitted near the pavilion but there is a dog park located in the park.
There is a small playground right next to the pavilion.
This is a rain or shine event.
We will be grillin dogs and burgers and whatever else may show up (I heard sock puppets are good with a little BBQ sauce).
We need volunteers! If you are interested in helping teaching the "basics" or need any other info. please contact RumGirl.
