WARNING: This cache is accessible only from EXPERT terrain during the winter

This area is a wonderful, but tough, glade run. It has a tight entrance, an old miner's cabin, and a natural half pipe for an exit. I have a lot of fun skiing it and showing it to my students who are capable of going in here. If you are not an expert skier, please do not attempt to get this during the winter. You will hurt yourself!!!
It can be accessed in the summer via a long hike from Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley. When you reach the end of the trail be prepared to hike up a black diamond ski run while bushwhacking. In other words, beef up your ski skills and get it in the winter. It will be easier.
Summer or winter pack a snack and hang out at the old miner's cabin to enjoy it after you find the cache. Be Safe and Have Fun!
Congratulations to
sec-guy and ABC-Girl
on a hard earned FTF!!!
ABC-Girl was a member of the Advanced Adventure Club class that inspired me to place a cache here with all the fun they had playing on the cabin. It's totally karma that she and her Mom and Dad get the FTF the following season.
