[LT] Lobis pasleptas prie Radvilu rumu, Lietuvos dailes muziejaus padalinio.

[EN] The cache is hidden near the Radvila palace, department of Lithuanian Art Museum.

INFORMACIJA APIE VIETA / INFORMATION ABOUT THE PLACE

XVII a. pradžioje rumus pagal architekto Jono Ulricho projekta pasistate Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystes didysis etmonas, Vilniaus vaivada Jonušas Radvila (1612–1655).
1654 m. prasidejes karas su Rusija bei XVIII a. karai, mieste siaute gaisrai rumus gerokai nuniokojo.
1807 m. Dominykas Radvila (1786–1813) šiuos, jau gerokai apleistus rumus, perleido Vilniaus labdaros draugijai. Jos žinioje šie rumai buvo iki 1940 m.
1967 m. rumai pradeti restauruoti.
1990 m. cia atidaryta meno galerija (Lietuvos dailes muziejaus padalinys).
Dabar cia organizuojamos ivairiausios parodos ir kiti renginiai.

The Radvilos Palace (architect Jonas Ulrichas) was built at the end of the 17th century on the request of Jonusas Radvila (1612–1655), the chief of Samogitia, the hetman of Lithuania, and the voivode of Vilnius. We can see such palace on a medal forged by a German medallist Sebastian Dadler (1586–1657) in 1653 on the occasion of Jonusas Radvila’s inauguration as the vaivode of Vilnius.
The palace was of three stores, with two stored galleries full of mannered décor and the Renaissance-like shapes. In the middle of the 17th century it was one of the most beautiful buildings in Vilnius.
Unfortunately, it was devastated by the war with Russia in 1654, wars of the 18th century and also raging fires.
At the beginning of the 19th century Dominykas Radvila (1786–1813) gave the ruined palace to Vilnius Philanthropy Society.
In 1967 restoration of the Palace started.
In 1990 Art gallery was opened here.
Now different exhibitions and other events are organized in this Palace.

[EN] Cache is a small film canister with logbook, pencil and few coins inside.
Due to the fact that the cache is hidden not ordinary, you have to be very careful.
You don't need to climb! And don't use too much strength.
