I love cocktail monkeys. Seriously, could a drink arrive with anything sillier or more fabulous than a dinky plastic monkey hanging off the rim? They used to arrive when I would order a fancy drink at the local rootbeer drive-in, Vel Mar. I think a Purple Cow was my favorite.
Even when I was little, I recognized the ridiculous wonder of these little guys, and I kept them among my other childhood treasures. They're still probably packed away in a box in the garage, nestled in a keepsake box next to the plastic charms and other questionable prizes I used to get out of the dime machines in Winn Dixie.

None of this has anything at all to do with this puzzle... nor will it help you solve it. But you gotta admit that they are pretty cute.
