Near the entry gate to Collin County Adventure Camp. Watch out for the low hanging tree branches and the briars (ugh!). There might be poison ivy too. At least if you get into it, you'll have something to remember this cache by for awhile. This is the Blackland Prairie and the soil gets really muddy and sticky when wet.
This is the first cache hidden by the mighty, mighty Thundercloud Circle of the Coppell YMCA Adventure Princess Program.
For several of the Thundercloud girls, this was their last campout with the program. It was an emotional event for them and their dedicated dads (as well as it was for the rest of us who had the honor of participating in their Red Feather ceremony). Those little girls are growing up!
This cache is a camo spice jar. There's room for a few small items. Be sure and be stealthy if campers are about. Also, orient it back where it was so muggles don't mess with it.
We hope you enjoy the cache as much as we enjoyed our campout.
