Welcome to Opening Day 2011. It is along the parkway across from a great little baseball field and playground. Lots of free parking are across the street.
PLEASE ONLY LOG YOUR CACHE NAME not the date.
Ever since I was a little boy I could not wait for the beginning of Baseball season. The October classic would crown the champions for the year and then the winter months would trudge on until the frosty days of February when spring training would begin. As I got older the games I watched were fewer and farther in between. Now I have two boys myself and they have played baseball for a few summers and it has brought it all back again. Hopefully you have your own memories of the boys of summer.
Inside the cache you will find some trinkets and a baseball. The baseball IS the log. I have also included a few new sharpie pens for you to sign the ball. Please ONLY sign your caching name and please DO NOT include the date to save space.
Please be respectful to the greenery. I have placed the cache within arms length from the grass. You can go around back if you think it would be easier. Please replace the cache back to its hiding spot. I want people to find this gem and sign the “LOG”. So, I have given a good hint below. Please use the sharpie provided or a sharpie of your own to sign the log.
