The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta wing, multirole combat aircraft, designed and built by a consortium of 4 countries UK, Germany Italy and Spain with development starting in 1986. The aircraft started life as an Air to Air Fighter, however many of the recent upgrades have concentrated on the development of its air to ground capability (including introduction of laser designator, laser/ GPS guided munitions). A navalised variant is being offered as part of the Indian MRCA campaign.
