Geocache Description:

CONGRATS TO thrillbilly777 for FTF!!!

This is the place in town for information on all things Covington. Whether it's tourism information or details on historic sites, this is the place to go. This cache is in the building. It was placed here with permission by Clara Deemer. Clara is the Director of Tourism for the Covington-Newton Chamber of Commerce. The cache is available M-F 9am to 5pm and Sat 10am to 4pm. For after hours cachers, there is a red bison tube on the left side of the brochure stand. Sign it and log it as a regular find. Feel free to look around and grab some brocures of information about the history of Covington. This cache is started with a few travel bugs. This is an active TB Hotel... IF YOU TAKE A TB PLEASE TREAT IT WITH RESPECT AS IT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. If you take a TB, log it asap. Don't just keep it. Allow it to visit from cache to cache until you drop it into another cache to travel on. Please try to help the TB achieve any goals or missions. The cache is very kid friendly. Take some pix of places around the square or use the various photo opts inside the Visitors Center.
