Postwood 3D Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Becca boos: Pirate Trickster went to check that this was could be re-enabled. There was good news and bad news when he got to GZ. The good news was that the wasps had gone. The bad news was that the tree the cache was hiding in had got blown over (we assume in the storms at the start of half term). Some deft clambering and reaching skills meant he was able to retrieve the physical cache, so whilst this one is being archived, a new one will be going out in it's place - somewhere in the vicinity hopefully.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a lovely little wood on the south side of Ware. During the Spring some areas of the wood are carpeted in beautiful blue bells.

Adjacent to the woods are some playing fields with several football pitches which are regularly used by various local teams at weekends - particularly on Saturday mornings when the car park listed as a waypoint can become full.

Note that the wood is a popular area for dog walkers so beware of Muggles.

If journeying by car I suggest you either park at the car park at the bottom of Walnut Tree walk – co-ordinates for the car park are N 51deg 47.905, W 000 deg 01.779 - or park near the junction of Postwood Road and Presdales Drive.

This cache could be combined with the nearby Postwood Geocache and Postwood 3D.
