Geocache Description:

Parking is available at the start of this walk along a public footpath from Eye to Flag Fen. This cache is close to the parking area and would be suitable for a buggy. Can be a little bit muddy after wet weather.

This is a nano, but should be reasonably easy to find if you think about it. The lid is fixed with a cable tie, so please unscrew in situ. Plenty of sticks on the floor if you can't reach it at first. Bring a pen. If you want to make your caching into a great walk, this cache can be completed along with several others on a 3 mile walk to Thorney Dyke (GC2R8XF).

Eye is now a large thriving village on the edge of the fens a few miles from the cathedral city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Its name comes from the Anglo-Saxon word ieg meaning island.
