Geocache Description:

Small cache with a log and room for small tradables. We spend many hours a week at this loocation. Muggles are heavy at times but they dont pay much attention. Help yourself to a pigeon band if you like!

This is my first in a series of my favorite and very unknown hobby PIGEON RACING. Since Mike Tyson has come out with his reality show on pigeon racing it has people talking and asking questions about this unknown sport. Most people have no idea that this sport is world wide and happens right in your own back yard. Pigeon racing is big in North Texas and Mansfield is home to one of the largest pigeon clubs in the metroplex. Racing pigeons can find there way home from hundreds of miles. No one has ever been able to prove exactly how they do it. Its part of God's magic. Racing pigeons are extremely well taken care of. They eat special food and water and get regular exercise. They are medicated regularly to keep them healthy. They do not have bugs like most people think about pigeons. Racing pigeons love taking baths and keeping themselves clean. The pigeon loft is cleaned and sanitized frequently. Racing pigeons are released daily for exercise. They are free to decide to stay or leave at anytime. A clean and inviting loft is essential in keeping birds coming home. More information on Pigeon Racing coming in future caches.
