To find the final location in this multistage cache, you will need to test your powers of observation. The photographs below will take you to each stage, the trick is, in which order?
To start this cache, travel to the posted coordinates. This will put you next to one of the pictures below. You are now standing at Waypoint A, and you see the number on the picture? Simply plug that number into the final coordinates.
While you are standing at Waypoint A, look around, you will see Waypoint B. How can you tell where Waypoint B is? By looking at the pictures, you will see that one of them is visible from where you are standing.
Now that you know which picture relates to Waypoint B, put that number into the proper spot in the final coordinates, and walk over to Waypoint B. From this location you will see Waypoint C. Repeat this process until you know the final coordinates.
A few rules to note about finding each waypoint.
- The pictures will not necessarily be from the vantage point of the previous waypoint, but you will see the item from the previous waypoint, even if you can't make out the fine details.
- You may move around the waypoint a bit to see the next one (say about up to 5 - 7 meters) to look around trees, vehicles, and such. It should be reasonably visible, catching a brief glimpse through a highly obstructed view doesn't count.
- You don't need to move to get a building out of the way. If a building is blocking your view from the immediate location of the waypoint, it's blocking your view.
- If the object is high up, simply stand near the base.
- If you think you see more than one possible waypoint, always choose the closest one.
- Once a waypoint picture has been used, it will not be used again.
- Some of the pictures are red herrings and will not be used to find the cache.
- Other than the final, there are no hidden containers at any of the waypoints.
- There is nothing useful in the EXIF data, sorry geeks. I stripped the data from the pictures myself, so don't bother looking, it will be a waste of Hz-1.
