Geocache Description:

This is a simple multi in the current suburb of Ashbury.

WP1 will bring you to the former location of Canterbury House which was built for Arthur Jefferys in 1850. It changed hands a few times before it was demolished to allow for a final subdivision of the land.

To calculate the coordinates for GZ you will need to study the sign at WP1.
GZ southing = S WP1 + the number of years that Canterbury House stood + the reference letter for the shed in the legend of 1874 plan (substitute the letter for its number in the alphabet).
GZ easting = E WP1 + the number of lots of land in the final subdivision of the block on which you stand (even number) + the price at which lot 23 was sold (ignore the shillings).

These coordinates will bring you to an existing Ashbury landmark, part of which was built around the time that Canterbury House was coming to the end of its life. Interestingly, it was officially opened by one of the former residence of Canterbury House.

You are looking for a small container that has a log and pencil and room for a few swaps or small travelers. Unfortunately, it is not quite big enough for normal sized geocoins.

There is a FTF trackable for the First to Find to have and activate.
